Surgical procedures we perform

The goal of our orthopedic program is to improve our patients' mobility, range of motion and quality of life. Our advanced surgical procedures include:

Robot-assisted joint replacement

Robot assisted joint replacements are performed by a highly experienced team of surgeons, nurses and technicians who are specially trained to use these systems.

The robotic system gives surgeons a better, more accurate 3D view inside your body; robotic instruments can bend and rotate far more than the human hand for greater precision and control. This is important because every patient and their joint anatomy is unique. Patients who have robotic surgery instead of open surgery experience:

  • Smaller incisions
  • Less blood loss during surgery
  • Shorter hospital stays
  • Lower pain
  • Reduced recovery time
  • Less scarring

Orthopedic rehabilitation

Through our comprehensive rehab program, physical therapists and occupational therapists teach you how to exercise, walk and complete daily activities, such as dressing and cooking, while you heal. During the hospital stay, a case manager assesses your progress and goals for discharge. The case manager also helps organize:

  • Additional support available through a home health agency
  • Any equipment that may be needed at home
  • Inpatient rehabilitation, if needed
